Students from Lisbon School of Design visit MPG Office Furniture.
On March 21st, the students of the Furniture Design course of the Lisbon School of Design visited MPG’s facilities.
LSD – Lisbon School of Design is a school that promotes the teaching of various aspects of Design with a differentiated approach. With schools in Lisbon, Faro, and Porto, LSD offers an encouraging education and a real opportunity for all people who want to invest in their talents and dreams.
This visit was the first moment of a partnership between MPG and LSD – Lisbon School of Design, where the main objective is to provide students with the experience of developing projects in a context of collaboration with industry.
This project consists in developing hangers that fit MPG’s ranges, designed to be produced in metal, to equip the classrooms of LSD – Lisbon School of Design.
For MPG Office Furniture, it is a great pleasure to be part of this kind of projects, we agree that the best way to learn is by doing and interacting in practice with the industry and professionals, allowing students to have a more direct contact with the reality of a company that, in this case, works in the area of office furniture.
The next moment of this project will be the presentation of the students’ models and their evaluation.
We noted feedback from the Furniture Design course teacher, who accompanied the students on the visit:
“Great reception and presentation of the company. The students were very pleased and well impressed.”
