The use of BioCote Ltd(Interpon by AkzoNobel) antimicrobial additives in the paints of the metal structures of the office furniture ensures effective protection, as they contain active substances that resist the growth of microbes, bacteria, moulds, fungi and some viruses. Proven protection of 86% in the first 15 minutes, reaching 99.5% in two hours. These antibacterial finishing solutions have no impact on the look of office furniture.

The antibacterial melamine worktops, which are the result of a partnership between MPG and Sonae Arauco, also confer greater protection to your office furniture. Besides providing durability, resistance to scratches and stains and ease of cleaning, they also provide the antibacterial protection so indispensable and desirable nowadays!

According to the international standard ISO 22196:2011, the effectiveness of the antibacterial finishing solutions is proven by tests conducted in external laboratories: the Hohenstein Institute (Germany), in the case of MFC melamines, and the School of Biotechnology of the Portuguese Catholic University (Portugal), in the case of HPL.

The fabrics we use in office furniture also contribute to the safety of work spaces because they use Bioactive technology, incorporating a silver ion coating that remains unchanged, exerting a permanent antimicrobial effect. It does not wash off and is resistant to current disinfection methods.
