MPG was born in 1971 as a metallurgist. Over the years it has always evolved in area, technology, design and development, creating its identity, with its own production in Lisbon.

According to João Guerreiro, MPG’s CEO, “it has effectively been a path of ups and downs, but without secrets. It’s just consistency, a lot of work and delivery. Over the years we have managed to adapt, being attentive and responding to what the customer is looking for, often with exclusive products. Decisions were always made to guarantee the support of any project and its continuous improvement, always ensuring that the company and its people were ahead of the interests of shareholders. This may have been one of the reasons for our success, coupled with the fact that we are also manufacturers and have a privileged location in Lisbon, which allows us to serve the whole country with ease and be exporters of reference in the area of ​​office furniture. ”

It was also developing several ranges of office furniture such as noma,  temma,  plano,  emme, minima and recently mosso, a range developed by MPG’s R&D department, pioneer in the development of a sustainable solution framed in the market’s natural and ecological trends , like bamboo and cork.

In line with market trends, this range also has more humanized areas, with more comfortable, practical and attractive work spaces, which allow the well-being of employees, improving their professional experience, their productivity and their bond. to organizations, not forgetting other differentiating solutions for home office, that organizations can make available to their employees, allowing better conditions for teleworking.

Celebrating 50 years, MPG presents itself as an international company with the recent opening of MPG UK, the new branch in London, passing its strategy for expansion and consolidation in other markets, guaranteeing the opening of new branches that allow MPG to affirm as a Portuguese brand of reference in office furniture at an international level.
